DIABETOLOGY
The Diabetes Clinic, made up of Doctors, Nurses and Administrative Staff, was activated because the care model provides that all diabetic subjects periodically access specialist facilities based on the stages of the disease and treatment, so as to achieve adequate glycemic control and avoid, prevent or delay the onset of chronic complications.
The visit will examine the diagnostic, therapeutic and educational aspects of the disease.
The outpatient staff respond both to the needs of patients admitted to the wards with bed consulting activities, and to external users, by appointment, with a doctor’s request and health card.
To book the first visit, a request from a general practitioner or another specialist is required.
